Servings
5
cups
Ingredients
9
Apples
sliced
1/3
tbsp
Lemon Juice Concentrate
1/2
c.
Water
(more water to make it less thick)
2
tsp
Cinnamon (or other spices)
optional
Instructions
Peel the apples (if desired) and slice them up into large chunks.
In the crockpot, add the apples, lemon juice, water and optional cinnamon or extra spices. Mix well.
Cook on high for 4 hours until the apples have broken down.
If you stir and the apple chunks mash up then you've cooked long enough!
Store in the refrigerator for 4-5 days or freeze.
Notes
I don't peel the apples. When sliced small enough, the peels when cooked don't bother us so we leave them in.
