Jen Hatmaker’s Grocery Store Day Super Sandwich

Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf Ciabatta Bread
  • 1/4 lb Pepperoni
  • 1/4 lb Salami
  • 1/4 lb Ham
  • 1/4 lb Mozzarella thinly sliced
  • 1 tub Pesto
  • 1 tub Marinara Sauce
  • 1 container Butter Lettuce
  • 1-2 Tomatoes
  • Fresh Basil
  • 1 Red Onion sliced
  • 1 Pineapple

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • Slice your ciabatta loaf in half, lengthwise.
  • Spread a thin layer of pesto on the bottom half of the bread. Then layer with the meat, cheese, veggies, and basil.
  • Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the top half.
  • Put the top half of the bread on top of the sandwich, cover with foil. Warm through at 350 for about 15 minutes.
  • While the sandwich warms, cut up the pineapple to serve on the side.
  • Once warmed, slice and serve the sandwich with individual bowls of extra marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

There always seems to be at least one extra slice of meat or cheese left over so feel free to "taste test" a slice or two while assembling the sandwich.
