Last year, I discovered YesFit virtual races, which helped me turn my “run 2 miles a month” New Year’s resolution into an exciting, tangible way to track my progress.
This year, with every run, hike, walk, paddle board or Peloton bike ride I did, I tracked my progress on the app and slowly completed more races. To accomplish the longer races, the Yes.Fit app syncs with my watch to count my daily activity miles.
So far, I’ve completed 26 YesFit virtual races, from a St. Patrick’s Day 5k to a 121 mile Unicorn race. Plus, I’ve done a few non-YesFit races too, like the Marine Corps 10K!
So far, my favorite YesFit races are:
- 53.3 miles Flight of the Dragonfly – By far my favorite. The medal is BEAUTIFUL and the pink t-shirt is girly and fun!
- 79.1 miles Great Smoky Mountains National Park – Medal is beautiful, t-shirt is super soft and I love the colors and fit!
- 6.6 miles Kennebunkport – The coin has a lobster on it; my favorite! Who doesn’t love New England?
- 58.6 miles Happy Camper – Reminds me of fun camping, and I love the tumbler!
- 42.3 miles Sea Turtle Exploration – The medal sparkles! And, a portion of race proceeds go to sea turtle conservation.
- 76.4 miles Topgun – Medal comes with aviator glasses!
I choose each race based on the medal/coin, and if there’s a fun headband or t-shirt, I will add those on too. Note: The t-shirt sizing is all over the place so I buy those cautiously.
But I LOVE their performance headbands! And, I use their crossbody bag in place of a purse (so much easier for #momlife).
Yes.Fit used to also have a beanie hat with a hole in the top for a pony tail, which is CLUTCH in the winter. This one (to the right) is similar, from Amazon.
