I’ve always admired moms who have their nails manicured. “They look so put together! But, who has time for that?” I always thought. But when I kept coming across Olive and June nail polish, read the rave reviews and saw the fun colors, I had to give it a try.
And, I am obsessed.
I’ve only been using their products for about a month but this is why I love Olive and June nail polish so far:
- The nail polish does not need a basecoat. #timesaver
- The nail polish dries fairly quickly compared to other nail polishes I’ve used. (I haven’t tried their Dry Drops yet)
- The manicure actually lasts a few days. I’m really hard on my nails between typing and #momlife, but some manicures I’ve gotten 5 days out of! Depends on how much I actually let it dry before carrying on with life.
- My pedicures have lasted weeks! But then again, pedicures usually do.
- I am not a talented manicurist but the polish goes on smoothly and actually looks good!
- They provide directions in writing and on the website that teach you how to give yourself a manicure. If you’re a novice like me.
- Their website shows colors with each other in fun palettes, so you don’t have to choose just one.
- The colors are SO FUN!
I initially bought the Everything Box with the Fall 2020 set colors except trading one color for the sparkly gold– because the holidays are coming so of course a sparkle is important.
Their website was a bit confusing to me at first, so if you decide to shop Olive and June’s website, I suggest:
- Visit http://fbuy.me/v/deb_1019, which takes you to Olive and June’s website, but you’ll get $10 off with my referral code!
- Go to their Polish > Looks or Polish > Collections sections.
- Figure out what you like. Write down the polish names, which are letters not words (maybe why I can’t remember them as easily?)
- Go to Shop > The Mani System.
- Go through the different box options (Everything, Studio, Tool Box, Nailfie Ready, Seasonal) and pick out your selected colors. The boxes come with all of the extras (buffer, nail file, clean-up brush and top coat). Again, if you’re a novice like I was, this is so helpful!
So whenever I have time, I experiment with different colors and matches. It’s been so fun and makes me feel dressed up, even if I’m in yoga pants and a ponytail.

More Olive and June Colors
Since posting this originally, I’ve bought a few more nail polish colors and really having fun with color combinations. It’s my new self-care time and makes me feel put together.
Reminder: I am clearly not a professional photographer or manicurist so these are just real life.

The day I got the navy blue (OMG) color, I was so excited, I had to take a picture:
