Does anyone else see ads for Ruggable’s washable rugs everywhere? Just me? I’ve almost bought a Ruggable rug at least 10 times in 2021 but always held off for one reason or another… mostly because I couldn’t decide on one pattern and didn’t NEED it.
But around the holidays, I realized that our doorway wasn’t cheery (or colorful at all), and a new rug would be an easy, practical way to liven it up. So I went for it.
I was thrilled with my purchase. I got the Dress Stewart Tartan Red Rug in a 3 foot x 5 foot with classic rug pad. It fit our doorway nicely and added a much-needed pop of color.
My experience with Ruggable:
- There were so many patterns and options to choose from.
- The website images of each rug and size were very helpful.
- I love that these are washable.
- The pad and rug were easy to put together.
- The purchase process was easy.
- The rug shipped quickly and was packaged well.
- The rug looks and feels exactly as expected.
I was a bit conflicted on whether or not I needed the cushioned ruggable pad, but decided against it in the end for this area of the house.
The classic ruggable pad has large velcro-type squares in the four corners and adds some extra thickness to the rug top so when combined, feels like a regular rug. But, it’s easy enough to take the top off for washing, if needed.

In the end, I was so thrilled with the Stewart Tartan rug that I purchased a second 3 foot x 5 foot rug for our laundry room. That area of the house gets a lot of traffic, so this time, I purchased it with the cushioned ruggable pad.
The cushioned ruggable pad is noticeably thicker than the classic pad. It’s not nearly as thick as a standing mat, but it is a lot more comfortable for feet or, more importantly, my knees when I’m helping the kids put on shoes.
For our laundry room, I bought the Floral Medallion Navy rug. Since it was the same size as our previous rug, I swapped it with the Dress Stewart Tartan Red rug for a quick visual on how much different rugs can change a space.
I refrained from using photo filters for a more accurate visual, but the colors of both rugs are so beautiful and rich, they really transform spaces in the house.
Both rugs have held up well so far, and the laundry room one gets trampled on daily.
I’m extremely happy with both of my Ruggable rugs and would highly recommend buying one to anyone who asks. I’m so glad I finally decided to try out Ruggable!
