Since baby #3 popped out with curly hair, I’ve been trying to embrace my wavy curly hair. Mostly so when she’s older, I can help her style her hair. But I honestly thought leaving my hair “au natural” and no hair drying would be easier.
Whew, was I wrong! Styling wavy curly hair is a totally different experience.
It’s also a new language: scrunch out the crunch, put your hair in a pineapple, plopping, and more!
I’m still learning what styling products (shampoo, conditioner, gel, etc.) work with my hair. However, in the past year or so, I’ve discovered quite a few new-to-me products that have helped me on my wavy curly hair journey.
A few of the items above, like the satin pillowcase and microfiber hair towel wrap, were GAME CHANGERS. I had no clue how frizzy cotton makes my hair. Luckily, I already owned and loved my Dyson hair dryer, which came with the diffuser attachment.
I’m hoping by the time my toddler is in high school, I’ll understand my hair enough to have consistently good hair days with my wavy curly hair! Fingers crossed!
Do you have wavy curly hair too? If so, let me know if you use any of the products above or have other products you know and love. Comment below!
